Cabo Bachelorette Party: How to Plan the Night Out
Updated: October 3, 2026
Cabo San Lucas is one of the easiest places to throw a bachelorette party: the clubs are a short walk from each other, the drinking age is 18, and the night runs late. The hard part is not finding a party. It is getting a group of eight or twelve people through several doors without losing half of them in a line.
This guide covers how a night out downtown actually works, what is worth arranging before you fly, and where a hosted bar crawl fits.
How a night out in Cabo works
Almost everything happens in a few blocks of downtown, around Blvd. Lázaro Cárdenas and the marina. Dinner runs early by local standards; the clubs fill up late and stay busy well past midnight. Most groups start with drinks somewhere relaxed and move to the bigger clubs once they get going.
Covers, lines and table minimums change by night and by season, which is why groups that show up without a plan tend to spend a good part of the evening negotiating at the door.
What to sort out before you travel
- A head count you can trust. Clubs and hosts plan around numbers, and a group that grows by four people at 9 PM is harder to seat.
- Photo ID for everyone. You need to be 18 or older, and doors do check.
- How people are paying. Collecting money from twelve friends on the sidewalk is nobody's idea of a good start. A deposit online and one person settling the balance is simpler.
- A meeting point and time, in writing, in the group chat.
- One person who is not the bride in charge of logistics. She should not be the one counting heads.
Where a hosted bar crawl fits
A hosted crawl solves the door problem. Your group meets a host at El Squid Roe, and that host walks you from club to club: cover is already included, you skip the line, and there are welcome shots along the way.
Our Bachelor/ette Crawl adds the things a bride actually uses on the night: a sash, a tiara and a task list for her, plus a dedicated host who stays with the group. If your group would rather not walk between venues, the VIP Experience includes private transportation between clubs and a two-hour open bar.
Small things that make the night better
- Wear shoes you can walk and dance in. The route is short, but it is on foot.
- Eat a real dinner first. Open bars and welcome shots hit harder on an empty stomach.
- Bring some cash for tips and for anything outside what is included.
- Decide in advance where everyone meets if someone gets separated.
